Hometimes.

Starting Sunday morning, I’ll be home alone for a week. Mum is headed off to South Carolina to see K’s National Guard bootcamp graduation. Dad left to drive out this past Sunday (or, well, drive to my grandmother’s in Virginia). Plan is for mum to go to my grandma’s for a few days, then they’ll drive down to Fort Jackson and surprise K, who doesn’t know they’re coming and told me in a letter that since he didn’t have anyone coming, he’s going to “raise Hell and gain twenty pounds”.

Pros and cons of this are such. Pro: I don’t have to deal with mum for a whole week and can do whatever I damn well please. Cons: 1) I was supposed to go back with Dad for the ride, and fly back at some point (Dad will be staying with grandma for a couple of months; at least until K gets back from his AIT in ~February). This obviously did not happen. 2) I have to deal with all of the animals, and have to be able to get to and from the horses to feed them nightly if we don’t manage to get them moved to their new place Friday or Saturday.

It’s just really >EEE’ish. I had been planning on going with Dad (and he knew about it) since the end of July/beginning of August. I specifically didn’t go back to school this semester because of said plans, and not wanting to miss a month of school because of it (among things). Dad kept putting off when we were supposed to leave (originally in the beginning of October), and didn’t even bother to tell me that he was finally leaving (I heard it from mum, as she purchased her plane tickets and said she’d be driving down with him).

Yargh. I really wanted to get the fuck out of California for a while. Bleh.

But enough of my bitching and whining. Have some actors-turned-Boyband cheesy pop. They really sound like NEWS on this CD XD

I clearly fail at blogging. But school, it destroys.

Massive biology midterm on Tuesday, preceded by a research project due for English that I haven’t even started. It is made of fail. Too tired to even properly science geek, cry. Exciting things of late: playing with test tubes full of sheep’s blood and playing with hydrochloric acid in a not-safe manner. 8D If I didn’t fear the math part I would probably move on to chemistry next semester. >_>

Math = death. Go die plz.

Fangirling time! Finished Yamada Tarou Monogatari drama after forcing S to download eps 3+ for me and marathoning. Guh. Cute. Crrrrryyyyy. I-I-I… think I have a thing for the dude that plays Tarou’s dad. ;o; He has a cute face ;o; Been re-watching Kurosagi while I was waiting for more Yamada Tarou and have once again come to the conclusion that I do not need to tell Yamapi to eat anymore, given the amount of stuff that goes into his mouth in that show. D:

Online-y stuff = getting lazy on some, being somewhat surprisingly productive on others. Horrah? I want to scan some stuff but need to go ask people what because I really have too much porn. And speaking of porn, Yaoicon soon :D Which will give me a Van and a Rue and many other squishlings to play with.

What wai?

I’m… a student?! That’s right folks, starting 22 Jan, 4 years and 11 days after I got out of HS according to my proficiency cert, I will once again be a full-time student at two different schools (according to how many units I’m taking. Technically half time academic and half time art.) Math and English at Yuba college’s Clearlake Center, and drawing, painting and ceramics at Mendocino’s Lakeport Center.

Mum is taking the art classes with me, which is the main reason I decided to go back anyway. XD Had to take a placement exam for Yuba the other day, which proved what I already knew: I kick ass at English and suck at Math. In math I placed into Math 111 (Prealgebra), which is the second step up, but I’m taking Math 110 (the lowest class – Arithmetic for College Students). Which means if I want to go for my Associates, I have to take… 4 or 5 math classes. English I placed into English 1A (College Composition and Reading), which according to mum not many people place into. Which, if I were again not taking the class below it (English 51 – Preparatory Composition and Reading), I’d only have to take and pass English 1A and take no reading classes to get my degree.

Thursdays I won’t get to go home between classes because Mum is taking the English class with my teacher right before mine. XP And the fun thing about drawing and painting XD Same teacher, same class, and he also teaches oils & watercolours (I’m taking acrylics) at the same time x3

Happy Thanksgiving~

If you’re American, anyway. Hope you all have a wonderful day with friends and family. I, however, will be staying home with my cup noodles whilst Mum and her 12 pound turkey go to the Spawn of Satan’s place and S&J go to J’s grandmother’s. I’d rather spend the holiday alone than go through another one with dealing SoS’s bullshit. I don’t care if she’s family, I don’t want to be around it and I have no intentions of being around it if I can help it. No clue what Dad & K are going to be up to, but will probably call Dad later to see what’s up.

Maybe I should get my ATM card back from Mum (who seems to have it more often than I do >_>) and see what’s playing at the theater if it’s not raining – it’s close enough to walk to both the theater and the bank (given the theater’s right behind my bank …), but even if I catch an early evening show I’ll have to walk home in the dark… not something I want to do — Through RA lives about 2 blocks behind the theater so I could probably get a ride from her, but I wouldn’t want to bother her family during their dinner because her sisters are up. I’d be welcome to join but eh. Not feeling particularly festive and can use the time to work on my special-deck cards for people, updating sites and catching up on Honey and Clover so Crys will stop hounding me to fangirl with her.

Internets have been acting up again, the whores. Plus the power keeps going out because we’re on some funky grid (Meaning mine and my neighbor’s power was out, the guys across the street were out, but the house behind my neighbor had power, etc…) and the line’s been ready to go for weeks (constant brownouts, etc ~_~). Pretty irritating.

Fangirly and fandom related stuff simply because 90% of my posts require it. Leah was totally awesome and gave me Tackey & Tsubasa’s new album, which exudes massive amounts of gay (go figure.) Was there really a reason for a fifth version of Venus? Either way, it’s lollertastic. I am hearting on the album XD; And hopefully I will have enough monies soon to actually like, buy it. I need to make myself a list of crap I want to get >_>”

Spent the past few weeks getting and watching Kimi wa Petto, which is fucking adorable and I want to squish it. Too fucking cute D: Half the time I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or simply stare going “What the fuck?”. Jun was freaking adorable and Sumire girl was so… I liked her. I wanted to punch the Fukushima girl through like the whole thing D: It is now being burned off because I might as well burn some crap off and actually get back some HDD space.
